MFTransparency to Launch Blog

Published on February 4, 2010

LANCASTER, PA, USA February 2, 2009 – On Thursday, February 4, MicroFinance Transparency (MFTransparency) will launch a blog on its website, available here. MFTransparency already shares important pricing data and news related to transparency through its main web portal. The blog will complement the existing website and will serve as an informal venue through which MFTransparency can share news, information, and opinions relating to transparency initiatives and developments in the broader microfinance industry. Blog posts will regularly be written by MFTransparency staff as well as occasional guest posts and interviews with industry leaders from other organizations. The blog will also offer the ability for viewers to comment on posts in order to share their ideas and responses with MFTransparency.

In our initial blog posts you can expect to see: an analysis of the relationship between portfolio yield and profitability in India, Mexico and Russia; a taste of our field activities in Kenya this January; and a look into microfinance and disaster relief in Haiti. Visit the blog for a look at what at MFTransparency has to say about these issues, and many more!
